Aloha form Autumn Finland!
Just loved your arr and singing in voices and the tune was nice too. Longing to see you in summer wear…not here anymore…

It sounds good, you can use this in standard tuning too. Unfortunately I followed the lesson from archive, so I don’t have the sheets you got. It’s big work to play those arpeggio chords like a bass player…
Well it was “a bit” more than couple… 🙂
Ha, I forgot the name of the tune: Song for Keola by Jeff.
Here’s what I’ve been working on for “a couple of hours” this week. This was hard with it’s rhythmic patterns and some surprisingly hard fingerings. And it took it’s time make separate notes music… Don’t blame me 🙂
These songs go together so nicely and liked your playing you have good emotion in your performance.
Alan, you reached something I couldn’t. I really like your tempo, I tried to play slower as I did but my restless mind didn’t let me. First I thought is melody loud enough in the beginning but with 2nd listening I think it’s ok.
Alan, my audio is mainly because my playing looks sometimes more like wrestling and I think it’s not so interesting to follow… 🙂
I thought to send my rendition, it’s son fun how differently we “hear” the tunes and make them our own versions!
Great that you got it work. Very nice and fluent rendition!
Ivo, the link worked weel as playing did too.
Alan & Ivo
Mahalo and it’s nice to hear to inspire someone. Ivo, rocking chair is our future…
Ivo, you always got friends here 🙂
Mahalo Alan! When I was about 15 I heard classical guitar on radio and what struck me was that it sounded like 2 guitars. Since then my dream has been to sound like that. So your feed back struck my heart! The slower tempo idea comes from listening Uncle Dennis and that I hear some Neil Young behind the song. And when performing one tends to accelerate…
Here’s my rendition of Wahine Ilikea for now.Could be slightly slower, but it’s so tempting to start too fast…
Ps. I sent this as audio so that you can concentrate better on music.
